About
Program Overview
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of the Golden Triangle recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children involved in the youth court system. Assigned by youth court judges to complex dependency cases, CASA volunteers conduct independent investigations, meet regularly with the child, and submit detailed reports to help judges make informed decisions regarding the child's safety, permanent housing, and well-being.

Who is eligible
This program is designed for children involved in the youth court system due to abuse or neglect, as well as community volunteers (ages 21 and older) seeking to serve as dedicated court advocates for vulnerable youth.
