MUTEH Supportive Services for Veteran Families
Serving Clay, Lowndes, Noxubee, Oktibbeha Counties
About
The Mississippi Urban League and MUTEH Inc.'s SSVF and GPD programs are dedicated to ending veteran homelessness by providing rapid housing solutions and supportive care for low-income veterans across Mississippi. To transition veterans into stable homes, they offer rapid re-housing services with financial assistance for rent, security deposits, and moving costs. The initiative also provides homelessness prevention aid, including short-term financial support and case management for those facing eviction. Through ongoing supportive services, veterans receive personalized housing stability planning, legal assistance, healthcare navigation, and connections to VA benefits. Additionally, the programs coordinate Grants and Per Diem transitional housing and emergency shelter beds dedicated to helping veterans achieve permanent independence.
