About

Southern Outdoors Unlimited is a non-profit organization dedicated to introducing children with disabilities to guided outdoor sports, recreation, and biblical fellowship alongside experienced outdoor guides and landowners. To ensure accessible outdoor experiences, the organization coordinates fully hosted, adaptive hunting expeditions for seasonal game with specialized safety gear and trained volunteer guides on private land. They also host the SOU Super Hunt, an annual multi-day flagship deer hunting weekend in central Mississippi complete with community meals and family fellowship. Additionally, the group runs structured fishing trips and nature adventures designed to build confidence, outdoor skills, and peer connections. Through these events, the program provides a supportive community network where parents and caregivers can connect with families navigating similar life experiences.
